Curriculum
Ryan Deichert, Owner and Gracie Black Belt, is dedicated to sharing the authentic Gracie System that the late Grand Master Helio Gracie created. Our Gracie Basics Program is safe, energetic and, by far, the best way to get started in the most effective martial art in the world: Gracie Jiu-Jitsu.
Gracie Jiu-Jitsu is for everyone! Tampa Jiu Jitsu instructors are specially trained to teach beginners in a way that is easy to understand. Ryan has taught thousands of students over the last 20 years. They have discovered the easiest, safest, and fastest method to impart the Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu self defense of Helio Gracie and his son, Relson Gracie.
Our Gracie Jiu-Jitsu 101 Program is easy to learn and perfect for anyone of any size, no matter if s/he is “in shape” or “out of shape.” Gracie Basics is the best presentation of fundamental Gracie Jiu-Jitsu, whether your goal is to be a hobbyist or a Gracie Black Belt. Gracie Basics will get you in shape through consistent training, and practicing the techniques.
Gracie Jiu-Jitsu 101 is a motivational program, geared toward teaching leadership skills in addition to the Jiu-Jitsu curriculum. We emphasize safety, optimism, humility, respect and an open dialogue between student and instructor.
